Building Bridges of
Religious Understanding and Cooperation
in Our Community, Nation and World.
Wednesdays at Lent
February 24, March 3, 10, 17 & 24
6:00-7:30 p.m., The Holmes Room
Not only is the United States the most religiously diverse nation in the world, but it is more religiously diverse now than at any time in its history. During the five Wednesdays in Lent, join us and explore the question of religious pluralism.
- What affect does this diversity have on one’s personal faith?
- Is there common ground in the areas of theology or social justice?
- Is the nation more a melting pot or a mosaic of religious communities?
- What is a healthy understanding of separation of “church and state” in these times?
We will explore these and other questions over dinner and discussion as well as common readings. Please join us and feel free to bring a non-Westminster neighbor or friend. RSVP by signing up in the Holmes Room, or call the church at 884-9437.
